The Oran International Arab Film Festival Governorate announces that the 12th session of the festival will be held from October 4 to 10, 2024 in the charming city of Oran, western Algeria.
The festival had been absent for 6 years, as the last session was organized in 2018, which was the 11th session.
The 12th session of the festival is led by artist Abdelkader Jerio, with a new artistic management of professionals in the field of cinema, in addition to an advisory body of filmmakers.
The new session will feature a diverse program and great momentum in events. It will also showcase the latest productions of Arab cinema in the presence of its makers.
The festival governorate informs that participation in the various festival competitions will be announced soon, not to mention the opening of a competition to choose the official poster for the festival.
Regarding the 12th session of the festival, the artist Abdelkader Jarrio said that the new session will gain great momentum through the established program and lay new foundations to support the film industry in Algeria and the Arab world and make this cinematic event a center of influence in Arab cinema, not to mention highlighting the tourism aspect of the charming city of Oran in partnership.
